  • • Two-time All-American Nomar Garciaparra from Georgia Tech and the Boston Red Sox
  • • Hall of Famer Lou Brock of Southern University and the St. Louis Cardinals
  • • Two-time All-American Brad Wilkerson of the University of Florida and the Montreal Expos
  • • 2003 College World Series champion coach Wayne Graham of the Rice Owls
  • • 16-time NAIA National champion coach Ed Cheff of Lewis-Clark State College
  • • Two-time NCAA Division III Player of the Year Tim Jorgensen of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
  • • Grandson of the late Frank Sancet, longtime coach of the Arizona Wildcats

And the winners of these awards, given to the best and brightest from the 2012 College Baseball season:

  • • The Dick Howser Trophy, college baseball's version of the Heisman Trophy
  • • The National Pitcher of the Year Award, college baseball's version of the Cy Young Award
  • • The Brooks Wallace Award, given to the top collegiate shortstop
  • • The Johnny Bench Award, given to the top collegiate catcher
  • • The John Olerud Award Two-Way Player of the Year Award
  • • The NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, given to the nation's top relief pitcher
